Phishing Report for the District (24-25 Marking Period 1)

Phishing scams are a growing threat, but in Hillsborough, we're fighting back with KnowBe4! We're not just educating staff about online safety – we're turning it into a friendly competition between schools. 💪

This school year, we will be holding two separate competitions: Which schools had the lowest click percentage AND which schools had the highest percentage of reporting sample phishing emails?

🛡️ Lowest Click Percentage 🛡️

In the battle against phishing attacks, these schools demonstrated exceptional vigilance! Woodfern takes the crown with an impressively low click rate of just 1.04%, proving their phishing awareness training is truly paying off. The Middle School follows closely behind at 1.58%, while Woods Road staff showed strong defense with 1.61%.

🚨 Highest Percentage of Reporting Sample Phishing Emails 🚨

Talk about phishing heroes! HMS takes the lead in reporting suspicious emails, with a whopping 37.38% of potential phishing attempts flagged by their vigilant users. Woodfern demonstrates a strong security culture as well, with 36.46% of their community actively reporting threats. Sunnymead also deserves recognition for their impressive 31.85% reporting rate.

🏆 Where are the trophies? 🏆
Our tech department has teamed up with Mr. Askew's Intro to Engineering students to create some HTPS student designed 3D-printed phishing trophies for MP 2. Stay tuned for a glimpse of the final products – they're sure to be a catch! 🎣 In the meantime, remember to stay vigilant and report any suspicious emails.
