Welcome back to another exciting marking period, and with it comes the return of our highly anticipated (and slightly nerve-wracking!) Phishing Competition! This crucial online safety initiative challenges schools to test their cyber skills. We're tracking two key metrics: most phishing attempts reported and fewest successful clicks
It's a friendly competition with a serious purpose: building a stronger, more secure online community by learning to recognize and avoid phishing attempts.
🛡 Lowest Click Percentage 🛡
Congratulations to Woodfern (0.49%), Amsterdam (0.86%), and Auten Road (0.98%) for demonstrating excellent cyber awareness! With click rates of less than 1%, these schools have shown a remarkable ability to identify and avoid phishing attempts. Keep up the great work!
🚨 Highest Percentage of Reporting Sample Phishing Emails 🚨
Kudos to the Middle School (36%), Auten Road (33%), and Woodfern (29%) for their excellent phishing reporting! By reporting potential threats, they're helping to protect themselves and others from falling victim to phishing scams. Way to go!
🏆 Introducing... The Phishing Trophies 🏆
This marking period also saw the debut of student-designed phishing competition trophies! Thanks to Hillsborough High School Intro to Engineering students Lindsey Buisson and Travis Roberts, who designed and 3D-printed these unique awards using Tinkercad. Their creativity adds a special touch to this important competition.
