Hook, Line, and... Not Today! Our Marking Period 2 Phishing Champions

As we saw from last weekend's real phishing attempts, staying ahead of the bait is a number one priority in our district. These legit phishing situations are why we continue to use simulation campaigns to keep us on our toes.

Marking Period 2 threw some tricky emails your way—from fake Amazon refunds to urgent DocuSign requests—but our district stayed calm. Whether your school made the leaderboard or you simply avoided a tricky link, you are the first line of defense in keeping our student and staff data secure. Keep up the good work!

Reporting with the "White Hook"
We have done a great job transitioning to Wizer, our phishing and training platform. To keep the momentum going into marking period 3, remember to look for the "White Hook” in Gmail.
To find the “Report Phishing” button, look at the right-side panel of any Gmail message. You’ll see a white phishing hook icon. If an email feels "off," don't just delete it—click that hook, then click the orange “Report Phishing” button! It’s the fastest way to alert the team and keep our network secure.
