Have you ever seen the Question option in Google Classroom and wondered how it works? If you would like to start a blog-like discussion where students can respond to a prompt and then see and respond to classmates' responses that you can easily view and grade in Google Classroom, this post is for you!
To create a question in Google Classroom follow these steps:
1. Select Question from the Create menu
2. Add a Heading for your question in the Question field
3. Type your Question in the Instructions field
**we think doing it this way looks better for your classroom participants**
4. Check off Students can reply to each other to make sure students can view and respond to classmates’ posts
5. Adjust any other settings based on your preferences (add a topic, add a due date, change the point value, etc)
6. Select Ask to post the question on your Google Classroom
That’s it! Now your students can view, respond to, and read responses from their classmates.
