Phishing Champions Emerge: Marking Period 3 Results!

Another marking period has wrapped up, and with it, another round of our district-wide Phishing Competition! This initiative strengthens our schools' digital defenses by improving everyone's ability to identify and report phishing. We track two key indicators of our collective cyber smarts: the lowest percentage of clicks and the highest percentage of reported phishing simulations.
Let's celebrate the latest schools that have risen to the top!

Lowest Click Percentage
A huge round of applause to Woodfern (0%), Amsterdam (0.42%), and Sunnymead (0.46%)! Achieving click rates this low demonstrates exceptional vigilance and a strong commitment to online safety within these school communities. Your ability to identify and avoid potential threats is truly commendable – keep up the outstanding work!

Highest Percentage of Reporting Sample Phishing Emails
Our congratulations go to Woodfern (43%), the Middle School (40%), and Auten Road (35%) for their impressive rates of reporting simulated phishing emails! By actively reporting suspicious messages, these schools are playing a crucial role in protecting themselves and the wider district from potential cyberattacks. Your proactive approach is making a real difference!

District-Wide Victory in Cyber Awareness
While celebrating our top performers, let's also acknowledge what we've achieved together as a district. So far this year, more people are reporting phishing attempts using the orange phishing hook button, and fewer are clicking on suspicious links. This shows that our combined effort to be aware of cyber threats is making our online environment safer for everyone.
