Schedule Assignments for Multiple Google Classrooms at Once

If you’re a Google Classroom user this year, it may feel like Christmas in March to you with the latest Google Classroom update.  The coveted Schedule Assignments for Multiple Classes feature is on it's way here! Over the next two weeks, Google will be rolling out this feature to our HTPS teachers.  If you’re tired of jumping through hoops to schedule the same assignment for multiple classes, Google has made your life easier.

Just follow the steps below:

  1. Go into one of your Google Classrooms and Create an assignment.
  2. Use the Classes drop down to select which Google Classrooms this post will be sent to.
  3. Click the drop down arrow next to Assign, and select Schedule.
  4. In the new window that opens you will finalize the scheduled posts. You can customize the Publish date, Due date and Topic for each class or if you want them all the same, use the Copy Settings to all button.
  5. Click the Schedule button.  A pop up box in the bottom left corner will let you know that it has been successfully scheduled for multiple classes.

That’s it! Now that it’s quicker and easier to assign classwork across numerous classes, what will you do with all your additional free time?
